On Thursday, April 5, 2018, about 70 students gathered at Tougaloo College to present their research. The students represented Millsaps College, Mississippi College and Tougaloo College at this 15th year of the Tougaloo College-Mississippi College Undergraduate Research Symposium.
Several Mississippi INBRE Scholars were present at this event including three of our newest Mississippi INBRE Scholars who will begin their research experience in summer of 2018:

Mississippi INBRE’s own, Dr. Glen Shearer was asked to be the keynote speaker for this year’s event. He shared with students how their research experience could be of benefit to them in future careers.
