Mississippi INBRE Bioinformatics Core Director, Dr. Shahid Karim from The University of Southern Mississippi recently published research entitled, “A snapshot of the microbiome of Amblyomma tuberculatum ticks infesting the gopher tortoise, an endangered species” in the journal Tick & Tick-Bourne Diseases. His research is supported in part by Mississippi INBRE.
