The Mississippi INBRE Research Scholars program is an undergraduate research internship that provides students with hands-on research laboratory experience. Selected students will perform research in a host laboratory at a research-intensive university in Mississippi. This program also includes training in basic laboratory techniques, responsible conduct of research, ethics, biosafety, bioinformatics and career development.

The Mississippi INBRE Service Scholars program provides undergraduate students with community outreach opportunities. Students will be placed with our partner organization “My Brother’s Keeper” which is designed to enhance the health and well being of minorities through leadership in public and community health practices, collaborations and partnerships.
