Dr. Rakez Kayed from the University of Texas Medical Branch visited The University of Southern Mississippi on September 25th, 2019 as part of the Cellular & Molecular Biology Fall Seminar Series. This four-part series features speakers from across the country presenting on their field of expertise.
Dr. Kayed spoke in the Thad Cochran Center on “Interactions of Protein Aggregates in Neurodegenerative Disease: Implications for Drug Development.” Attendees included 20+ faculty and graduate students from the School of Biological, Environmental and Earth Sciences.
