Dr. Rita Tamayo from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill visited The University of Southern Mississippi on October 23rd, 2019 as part of the Cellular & Molecular Biology Fall Seminar Series. This four-part series features speakers from across the country presenting on their field of expertise.

Dr. Tamayo spoke in the Thad Cochran Center on “Mechanisms of Phenotypic Heterogeneity in Clostridium difficile.” Attendees included 20 faculty and graduate students from the School of Biological, Environmental and Earth Sciences.
