Mississippi INBRE’s Science Curriculum Grants, in collaboration with the SEPA program, support course creation or substantial course enhancement at Mississippi’s K-12 institutions. Topics of interest include all areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Education.
We invite applications from Mississippi’s K-12 science teachers seeking support for new course development or enhancement at their institutions.
Applicants can apply for up to $2,500 per year. Funds may be used to purchase supplies and equipment critical to the course. Funding of applications are contingent on Mississippi INBRE’s renewal by NIH.
Applications must be received by February 1, May 1, August 1 or November 1. Please note that the August 1, 2017 deadline has been extended to September 1, 2017.
Science teachers from K-12 institutions within Mississippi are eligible to apply. Please contact us if you have any questions about your eligibility.
Applicants should be submitted electronically by email and include: title, abstract, a 4-page narrative with a description of the course they seek to develop and its potential impact on the students and the institution; resume, a budget, and budget justification.
