Mississippi INBRE Faculty, Students and Staff Attend the 2018 Mississippi Academy of Sciences Meeting

On February 22-23, around 800 researchers, professors and students from across the state converged on the campus of The University of
Southern Mississippi for the 82nd Annual Mississippi Academy of Sciences meeting. This annual conference, sponsored by Mississippi INBRE, consistently attracts hundreds of attendees representing every institution of higher learning in the state to celebrate the research being done in Mississippi.

Mississippi INBRE Scholars brought home 13 awards for their INBRE funded research. See the list of award winners below:
