Mississippi IDeA/EPSCoR Conference 2022

Join us for Mississippi IDeA/EPSCoR Conference 2022, featuring Mississippi Health Disparities and the Center for Emergent Molecular Optoelectronics! This unique meeting will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at the Lake Terrace Convention Center in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Mississippi IDeA/EPSCoR Conference 2022 will offer concurrent oral and poster sessions on individual biomedical research, health disparities, and science and engineering tracks. Competitions for both graduate and undergraduate students will take place throughout the day. The conference will also feature an exhibitor pavilion to connect scientists, engineers, healthcare stakeholders, and health leaders from across the state. These various stakeholder groups will be brought together with the common goal to increase both STEM and biomedical research, as well as address health disparities in Mississippi.

This conference is designed to provide a stimulating opportunity for Mississippi students who are pursuing careers in STEM, biomedical research, and health-related fields. We are excited to facilitate collaborations amongst biomedical, science, and engineering researchers in the Deep South through this unique conference organization.
