Big IDEAs for Improving the Lives of Mississippians, 2018 Mississippi IDeA Conference will be held on July 27, 2018 at The Westin Jackson in Jackson, Mississippi. The conference is designed to showcase research in Mississippi in the fields of obesity & cardiometabolic diseases, cancer, neuroscience, infectious diseases & immunology, community health & health care disparities, and integrating omics technologies & general biomedical sciences.

Join us for this full-day conference as we celebrate the innovative research done in our state.

The keynote speaker for this year’s conference will be Dr. Joey P. Granger, Billy S. Guyton Distinguished Professor, Professor of Physiology and Medicine, Director of Cardiovascular-Renal Research Centre, Dean of the School of Graduate Studies in Health Sciences at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Extended Abstract Deadline: June 30

All abstracts will be presented in a poster format. 

Posters should be no larger than 60”W x 40”H. Pushpins, backboards and easels will be provided. Velcro and tape are not allowed!
