Mississippi State University student, Anna Hinton spent her summer as a Mississippi INBRE Research Scholar in the lab of Dr. Steve Elder at MSU. Her research focused on injectable drug therapy system to treat and prevent osteoarthritis.
Her goal is to graduate from Mississippi State University with her Bachelor’s degree and then either attend graduate school or begin working in industry. She said that the Mississippi INBRE Scholars program “has helped me to accomplish my goals by giving me the opportunity to have experience in my degree as a Biomedical Engineer.”
