Save the Date for Mississippi IDeA/EPSCoR Conference 2026 (MIEC26)!

Taking place on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the Lake Terrace Convention Center in Hattiesburg, this statewide gathering will bring together Mississippi’s research community for a full day of STEM research presentations, student posters, professional development and networking. 

Co-hosted by the Mississippi IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE) and the Mississippi Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR), MIEC26 will provide an engaging platform for faculty researchers, students, healthcare professionals and R&D industry stakeholders to collaborate and exchange scientific discoveries. Attendees can expect opportunities for professional development, meaningful connections, and constructive feedback on their work.
