Catching up with 2015-16 Academic-Year Scholar, Maurice Whalen

Tougaloo College student, Maurice Whalen worked in the lab of Mississippi INBRE Research Development Grant recipient, Dr. Santanu Banerjee. During his time in Dr. Banerjee’s lab, Maurice conducted research which he presented at the 2017 Mississippi Academy of Sciences meeting. Upon graduation from Tougaloo College, he was accepted into Washington University, St. Louis to study physical therapy.

Congratulations, Maurice. We look forward to seeing where your education will take you next!
