‘Omics (genomics, proteomics, transcriptomics, etc.) are among the fastest changing sciences and are increasingly important to virtually every discipline in biology. Understanding what ‘omics data is and how it is used is becoming necessary for a wide range of biologists. In this module, students will take their first steps into this field, they will even have an opportunity to submit jobs to a supercomputer for processing.
